Kyle was born and grew up in Edmonton, Alberta and is the eldest of three brothers.  He then attended Queen’s University where he obtained an undergraduate degree in biomedical computing, and is now pursuing a master’s degree in biomedical engineering at the University of Calgary.  Kyle enjoys downhill skiing, running, and cycling and has recently become captivated by surfing.  He also enjoys food and cooking, especially every cut of pig he can get his hands on.
