PhD Candidate
Email: kmountai@ucalgary.ca

Kelsey completed her undergraduate degree in Medical Biophysics at the University of Western Ontario. For her honours thesis, she used high-frequency ultrasound to assess the complex organization of the collagenous network in articular cartilage. Kelsey is now a PhD Candidate at the University of Calgary under the supervision or Dr. John Matyas. Currently, Kelsey is developing quantitative MRI techniques to monitor and predict changes to the collagenous network of articular cartilage with disease.
Kelsey would like to keep her own cartilage healthy so she can continue her passion for skiing and snowboarding until she is 105.
