I graduated with an undergraduate degree in Biological Engineering (Co-op) from the University of Guelph in 2005.  In that same year, I began my graduate work at the University of Calgary in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering program.  I upgraded to the PhD program in the summer of 2007.  As a first author, I published a manuscript in the journal IEEE Transactions on Biomedical Engineering, entitled A Novel 3-D Image-Based Morphological Method for Phenotypic Analysis in December 2008.  My current work assesses the effects of growth hormone on the development of bone micro-architecture and craniofacial shape in young, growing mice.
