Breanne Landry is currently a Masters student in the Department of Chemical and Materials Engineering at the University of Alberta. Under the supervision of Dr. Hasan Uludağ, she is presently researching cationic polymers as DNA carriers for non-viral gene therapy. Breanne was born and raised in St. Albert, Alberta. She completed her undergraduate degree in Materials Engineering, also at the University of Alberta, in June 2008. During her undergraduate degree she held three NSERC undergraduate student research awards where she researched the properties of nanocrystalline silver in the Burrell Lab. In her free time, Breanne enjoys reading, hiking and playing tennis.
